According to mac cosmetics:
A one-step powder and
foundation that provides a smooth, flawless, all-matte, full coverage finish.
Long wearing, velvety texture allows skin to breathe.
My thoughts about the product:
Some 3 years back, I heard so
much about mac studio fix that I was like this is one mac product that I have
to try. And today after 3 years I am still in love with it the same way I was
when I first used it.I love it and I'd not know what to use instead.
The first thing that
attracted me was obviously the sleek black packaging, it was one of the first
ever mac products of mine.
I think it is a great powder
for medium to full coverage. I have a normal to dry skin, and I use a hydrant
or sunblock underneath always, otherwise it tends to dry my skin, which I don’t
like. It is buildable, but a lot of it will obviously make anyone look cakey.
It gives a very nice and matte look, and overtime as the day passes and the
skin secretes oil, it mixes and it gives a very nice dewy look. To be honest, I usually like the after 2 hours
look more then the immediate look. I guess for very oily skin, you will need a
mid-day touch up, but otherwise it’s a fairly good powder.
Like till last year, I used
to use it with the provided sponge, but that was uptil the real techniques
powder brush didn’t come in my life. Now I use it with the powder brush, and I
love the application.
Usually one pan of this
studio fix lasts me 6-8 months, not to forget I use it everyday, like literally
every single day, this is the only powder that I have.
It is very easy to apply and
blend. It gives me a smooth, flawless finish and gorgeously even skintone.
It has many shades to choose
from, I am NC30.
Pricing and availability:
If you want testers and you want to try, ebco in forum has a mac counter.
If you don’t want to try and just want to buy and will believe whatever shade the person tells you is yours, then go to Naheed supermarket or Aghas.
I usually buy mine from Naheed for 3900/- as of today. The prices change a lot.

Point in favour:
Nice packaging.
Buildable coverage (medium to
full).
Good for imperfections.
Points not in favour:
Obviously not good for people who are prone to break outs.
Not everybody will pay this much for a powder.
For very oily people, touchups necessary.
That's great I have my eyes on it but don't wanna invest in wrong shade, as no official counter in lhr n isloo, but soon will have it thanks for detailed review.
